Plain-language notes on how Cantilever Studio handles website inquiries, uploaded photos, and internal project review.

What is collected

When someone sends a website inquiry, Cantilever Studio collects the contact details they provide, their best contact preference, the project area, their project description, and any photos they choose to upload.

The site may also collect basic website analytics, such as page activity and general device or browser information. If someone contacts Cantilever directly by email, phone, text, or social media, those messages may also become part of the inquiry record.

How it is used

Inquiry information is used to reply, understand project fit and scope, set up an internal customer starter profile, prepare estimates or site visits, and keep project records when work moves forward.

Cantilever may also use inquiry patterns to improve the website and make the intake flow easier for future customers.

Uploaded photos

Uploaded photos are used to understand what the project might involve. They may be attached to internal lead emails and reviewed alongside the project note.

Please avoid uploading unrelated sensitive documents, private paperwork, or images you would not want reviewed as part of a project inquiry.

AI-assisted internal review

Cantilever may use AI-assisted tools internally to summarize project notes or photos and identify useful follow-up questions.

AI review is used as a helper only. It does not make final decisions, does not promise pricing or fit, and does not send automatic customer replies.

Service providers

Cantilever uses service providers to run the website and business. These may include website hosting and storage, email, analytics, AI-assisted triage, and quote, invoice, or customer record software once a lead becomes a customer.

Only the information needed for those services is shared with those providers.

What Cantilever does not do

Cantilever does not sell personal information.

Cantilever does not use uploaded project photos for public marketing without permission.

Cantilever does not add people to unrelated marketing lists just because they submitted an inquiry.

Retention

Inquiries and photos are kept only as long as they are useful for follow-up, quoting, business records, warranty, legal, tax, or accounting reasons.

Customer and job records may be kept longer than inquiries that do not turn into work.

Access, correction, and deletion

People can contact Cantilever Studio to ask what information is held, request a correction, or ask for deletion where reasonable.

Some records may need to be kept when they relate to active work, business records, legal obligations, tax, accounting, or warranty history.
